The Process

The Problem

Currently, Dallas Kitchen + Bath is not operating at its maximum potential. The website is outdated, the photography isn’t clearly representative of the service offered, and the messaging isn’t positioning the company in what the offer is for the user.

The Goal

After receiving the newly developed brand from the third-party agency, we’ll use the assets to build a strong web presence that enhances the heart of the business, creates clear communication with potential customers, communicate easy access to the quoting process, and establish rapport with visitors looking for home renovation services.

This Process Includes:

  • Industry Peer Audit. We’ll research your industry and see what competitors and others in the field are doing. What are the latest trends? What will give us an edge? What is industry standard? How can we excel based on what technology is available to us?

  • Gather Assets. At the point of project kick off, we’ve likely received your brand guidelines. From here, we will request (and suggest) photography of your work. That way, we can highlight your services well and create a clear and beautiful representation of what work you do.

  • Design & Messaging. We’ll develop a design layout including graphic elements and photography to revamp your website, including messaging focusing on the UX/UI experience for the potential client. What we need from your side will be clearly communicated upfront and we will provide you all necessary links to pass over to us anything we will need to build your website (photography, brand guide, emails, etc.)

  • Squarespace Website. We’ll setup the wireframe on a staging link for the build and edits. This is the link we’ll go back and forth on before launching on the original domain.

  • Contact Forms. We’ll create a line of communication with Dallas KB website to client by using email.

03. REVIEW + REVISE

Your new client page and website will first be presented to you via a personalized Client Webpage within The Business Bar website and a Squarespace link directly to your website. In addition to receiving your links, we will schedule a zoom call or deliver a recorded video walk through so you can take it all in and digest before sending back your feedback. There will be two opportunities to review our work and send your revisions so the final product is perfect.

04. lift off!

Your finalized Client Page will be delivered with your website style guide and any other style points that helped aid us in the development of your website. This also remains your client portal page through the duration of any work you do with us in the future. You can also use this page to reference to maintain brand integrity.

Once you’ve given your approval & final sign offs, we’ll make your new website live and work with you to test and make sure everything is working properly before your official launch. Then, we celebrate of course!

A few final things…

01. Your Brand Items/Photos

Please drop your brand photos & brand guidelines into this Google Drive Folder ▸
We want to ensure to maintain brand integrity. With the leading of your refreshed Brand Guidelines and job site photography, we’ll establish a photo filter that creates consistency across all photos and website visuals.

02. Credit Card Details

We’ll go about this in the most secure way that feels right to you. There’s no ‘comfy way’ to say “Hey, we need your billing and credit card details,” but the reality of living in the website world is that the chances are high of needing those items. Here’s why…

We’ll set up your Squarespace website using our email and send you ‘Administrator’ access, but in order to do this, we need to setup your reoccuring Squarespace payment ($23/month (annually paid) or $33/month (monthly paid)

You can put those details right into this document, or you can connect with us personally over the phone for a more secured route.
